We see the increasing number of addicts whose lives are threatened by the psychological and economic consequences of their addiction. We suffer with the relatives of addicts from the massive stress of personality changes caused by addiction, which strain and destroy relationships. We are affected and saddened by children and adolescents who are seduced into dependency with unsustainable promises of happiness. We are worried and concerned about the social and economic damage caused by addiction.
We want to contribute to alleviating and preventing the painful consequences of dependencies. We therefore support
– Projects that research the causes of the many different types of addiction,
– projects that develop and implement new approaches in the rehabilitation of addicts and addiction prevention,
– initiatives that educate people about the effects and consequences of using addictive substances.
