THE FOUNDATION
The Hetzler Foundation was established in 2017 and was recognized as a non-profit foundation by the Darmstadt Regional Council in December 2017.
The foundation is a funding foundation. With our earnings we support Research, prevention and rehabilitation of addictions and dependencies.
Projects that deal with
– research into the causes and treatment options of addictions,
– the prevention of dependencies,
– the rehabilitation of addicts
are supported by the foundation.
Applications for project funding can be submitted to the Board of Directors until the end of each calendar year. The Scientific Advisory Board evaluates the projects and decides on the allocation of funding in a selection process that may involve several stages. As a rule, funding is granted until the end of April of the following year.
